The Synopsis (SINopsis)
Bay Street Sushi follows the daily antics of a Toronto based Actor, who also works in the Bay Street Financial sector in downtown Toronto. Ten years ago Joe took on a temp position with a Bay Street financial firm to help support his acting career. Ten years later, he is still stuck in his day job, now juggling two careers (that of Office worker and that of Actor) and still trying to make ends meet. He also takes on projects with friends to raise some extra cash. The scenes of Joe's life take place in an office environment and the Japanese Korean Restaurant bar (Bay Street Sushi) located in the concourse level of the office building he works in. Joe escapes to Bay Street Sushi to vent from his daily frustrations. Here he socializes with various Stocktraders, financial analysts, general crazies and the waitstaff at the bar. Here Joe was penned with the nickname Joemovies. On occasion, we follow Joe on location on film sets and Auditions in the Greater Toronto area. Here we see Joe interact with Actors and Directors in Toronto's film industry. At one audition, Joe was asked by a director," If I were to give you a role in my TV Series, what kind of role would you like?" To which Joe responded, "I would like a role that is very mentally irregular." Keep posted to this blog for some very funny goings on.
